CDK Group Acquires Portman Logistics Ltd. & Key Board Member
CDK Group are delighted to announce the acquisition of Portman Logistics Limited, a large multi-port independent Container Hauler. Having met with almost 200 owners of SME’s within the haulage and transportation sector, we are convinced that this acquisition will play a major role in our future plans.
Portman Logistics Ltd, under the stewardship of Paul and Rebbeca Oven, have achieved a track record of growth, driven by excellent customer service, expert internal control and company-wide belief in the potential of the business.
During the acquisition process, Paul has taken a lighter role in the day-to-day operations, enabling Jimmy Russell the space to grow into his upcoming role as Managing Director of the company. Jimmy Russell has a wealth of experience, and we have every confidence in Jimmy and the rest of his team, to continue Portman Logistics’ long track record of service and success.
Paul will continue to oversee the operations of Portman Logistics and will also play a pivotal role in identifying and analysing further acquisitions in this sector. It is therefore with great pleasure that we announce the appointment of Paul Oven as the Head of our Haulage interests in the South East of England
